Safe at School: Scott M. Leaman Elementary School

Safe at School

The new elementary school for Lincoln, CA has been in Western Placer Unified School District plans since 2003. And the waiting has finally come to an end, at just the perfect time. The new Scott M. Leaman Elementary School, appropriately named for the dedicated School Superintendent who’s supported this project, opened its doors in October to safely welcome back up to 650 students.

The open and inviting campus is comprised of an administration and multi-purpose building, library, kindergarten and classroom buildings spread across 14 acres. Designed by HMC Architects Sacramento, built by award winning local contractor Roebbelen Contracting, and furnished by One Workplace Sacramento, the buildings and the administration are prepared to keep all students safe.

Major PPE, communications with families, social distancing and mandatory mask wearing have all been incorporated into the Lincoln, CA back to school planning. And there’s plenty of room for outdoor learning.
