United Corporate Furnishings (UCF) Joins the One Workplace Family

SANTA CLARA, CA – April 26, 2019 – One Workplace today announced the acquisition of United Corporate Furnishings (UCF), Sacramento’s premier furniture dealership. The acquisition complements One Workplace’s growth strategy to serve the entire Northern California mega-region.

UCF was founded in 1989 and acquired by Mark Hoag in 1992. Since then, the company has served the greater Sacramento region by offering clients a blend of value-added services and products. One Workplace also announced the name United Corporate Furnishings will be retained, and the entire UCF team will continue to be engaged with its valued customers. Mark Hoag will remain as President during a transition period.

Peninsula Business Interiors (PBI) Joins the One Workplace Family

SALINAS, CA -- October 23, 2018 -- Peninsula Business Interiors (PBI) today announced a new strategic investor to expand their service offerings while continuing to deliver industry-leading interior space solutions. One Workplace, a Steelcase Premier Partner headquartered in Santa Clara, CA signed an agreement to acquire PBI, extending the company’s regional presence beyond the San Francisco Bay Area.

“We are excited to join One Workplace,” said Mark Faylor, President and General Manager of PBI. “They share our family-oriented values and will allow us to extend significant benefits to our customers.” One Workplace services that will now be made available to PBI clients include construction services and AV integration. In addition, PBI will now have access to nearly 100 employees based in the Philippines, resulting in faster design turnaround times for their customers.
