Innovators in transportation, Supernal demanded creative new workspaces to launch their mobility revolution. RMW was charged with creating a cohesive design in both concept and details for three separate buildings forming a California "campus". 72K SF in Fremont, CA house the battery R&D team delivering experiences, and a look and feel that carries across all locations.
Previously a warehouse, the ground floor serves as both workspace and an all hands area with two opposing staircases. Lighting design, a white foundation palette, natural wood finishes, live plants and repeated design elements keep the space welcome and accessible. Open and enclosed areas provide a variety of work settings and branding/wayfinding by Studio O+A make everything easy to find.
The continuity of design details, lines, forms and colors, enhance comfort and familiarity for folks travelling across all three Supernal locations. Pops of color from seating and signage, various privacy solutions (some custom designs) and live plants complete the palette.
