Tehama County Superior Court

Improving functionality, security and accessibility were key objectives for LPAS and Rudolph and Sletten Construction when building the new Tehama County Superior Courthouse in Red Bluff, California. One Workplace provided expertise in furniture selection for courthouse design.

The new building includes five courtrooms, a jury assembly room, administrative offices, public service spaces, and central holding. Jurors use a kiosk to check in and have Wi-Fi access in the jury assembly room, as well monitors with closed-circuit feeds from inside the courtrooms.
The building and interior design are responsive to local context, geography, climate, culture and history of Red Bluff and at the same time, represent the dignity of the law. Furniture and finishes were selected to meet these goals.
