The Berkeley Artificial Intelligence Research (BAIR) Lab brings together UC Berkeley researchers across the areas of computer vision, machine learning, natural language processing, planning, control, and robotics. To create their newest lab, they tapped the power of One: construction, furniture and technology from One Workplace/Vantis.
Technology by One Workplace worked with the School of Engineering to understand and support requirements. To leverage space and major donor investments, interior construction by Vantis used a DIRTT multi trade solution, embedding power, data and technology.
Blitz led design for this state of the art facility to nurture BAIR genius and its latest findings. Natural light and expansive views support transparency and creativity. The rich, varied color palette and flexible furniture solutions spark user delight and engagement.
